Characteristics Analysis on Low Voltage Ride Through of Dual Stator-winding Induction Generator Wind Power System
摘要
Abstract
A dual stator-winding induction generator(DWIG) wind power system outputs high DC voltage over a wide range of wind speed,relying on the adjustable reactive power by the static excitation converter(SEC) on the control-winding side.DWIG wind power systems export power into the electricity grid without a boost converter.The special control strategy on the generator side helps to improve the capability of low voltage ride through(LVRT) during a voltage sag period.A model based on Simulink is built to simulate the wind turbine's performance during voltage dips with a unity,a leading and a lagging power factor respectively.The reactive power support to the main electricity grid during voltage dips is also discussed.Simulation results indicate a satisfactory LVRT capability of DWIG wind power system,reactive power support with various power factors during voltage dips.关键词
