摘要
Abstract
Energy-saving design is the primary design objective of wireless sensor networks media access control protocols.The research results of MAC protocol are summarized,and some typical MAC protocols are analyzed such as S-MAC,T-MAC and etc.Studies show that introducing Topology control mechanisms to MAC protocols can reduce energy consumption further,and a new MAC protocol (GS-MAC) is introduced for wireless sensor networks,which can provides an effective mechanism for improving energy efficiencies by reducing the number of idle listening nodes.The simulation results show that energy can be saved further by this protocol.关键词
