摘要

Abstract

In order to ensure the successful reclosure of single-phase automatic reclosure on ultra-high voltage transmission lines,the value of the secondary arc current and the recovery voltage must be limited.We analyzed and described two popular secondary extinction methods,namely,one by using high speed grounding switch(HSGS) and another by using the neutral reactor compensation.Taking Zhebei-Shanghai UHVAC double circuit transmission lines on the same tower as an example,we presented the computation of secondary arc current and recovery voltage by ATP/EMTP,and compared the results.The results show that both methods can restrain the value of secondary arc current and recovery voltage.The high speed grounding switch can only be applied to imcomplete transposition and the short transmission lines.The neutral reactor compensation can only be applied to the whole transmission lines.The optimal size of the neutral reactors of shunt reactor is 500 mH.
