BLT Equation Based Time-domain Simulation Method of Transmission-line Networks Responses to Electromagnetic Pulse

Abstract
To investigate the coupling mechanism between electromagnetic pulse (EMP) and transmission line network, we took two familiar networks, tree networks and annular networks, as examples, then, using electromagnetic topology theory and BLT equation, we studied transient responses of networks to EMP. Moreover, we analyzed the foundation and solution of BLT equation, and established an electromagnetic topology models of tree and annular networks. By using BLT super-matrices equation of networks, the node responses of networks were gained. A new calculation method, which combines the transfer function of network with convolution in time, was adopted in time-domain simulation, and the method was verified by experiment. The results can provide a new timedomain simulation method and experimental base in the research of networks transient responses and put forward the effective protective measures against EMP.关键词
