摘要

Abstract

We use finite difference software to simulate ground settlement caused by top-down construction of ultra-large foundation ditch,analyze the impact on ground settlement by plane sizes of the foundation ditch,depth,width and elastic modulus of the diaphragm wall. The model calculation results show that the distance from ultra-large foundation ditch to settlement convergence should be at least 8 times of maximum foundation ditch depth,which is larger than the suggested value in previous documentation,i.e. the distance from foundation ditch to settlement convergence is 4 times of maximum foundation ditch depth.
