Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical outcomes of free myocutaneous flap transfer with vacuum sealing drainage (VSD) for the treatment of post-traumatic osteomyelitis and soft tissue defect of the tibia.Methods We retrospective reviewed 17 patients who underwent free myocutaneous flap transfer with VSD technique and 13 patients who underwent free myocutaneous flap transfer technique for post-traumatic osteomyelitis.Results The success rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P＜ 0.05).According to the Enneking evaluation system,the score of sense of self and ability to walk were significantly better than those of the control group (P＜ 0.05).However,the number of operation was more than the that of control group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Post-traumatic osteomyelitis can be successfully treated by free myocutaneous flap transferred with VSD technique.关键词
