Abstract
The cathode material SmBaCo2O5+δ ( SBCO) and electrolyte material Ce0.8 Sm0.2 O1.9 ( SDC ) were synthesized by the glycine-nitrate process ( GNP). SBCO-SDC composite cathodes were prepared with different content of SDC. The effects of SDC content on the properties of the composite cathodes, including thermal expansion, electrical conductivity and electrochemical performance were evaluated. XRD results showed no chemical reaction between SBCO cathode and SDC electrolyte at 1100 ℃. The thermal expansion coefficient ( TEC) and electrical conductivity of the electrode decrease with the increase of SDC content. The area specific resistance ( ASR) of the composite cathodes increase as the content of SDC increased. The ASR of SBCO-SDC with 20% in mass SDC is 0. 145 Ω · cm2 at 750 ℃ and the electrical conductivity of the electrode was higher than 100 S · cm-1 at 500-800 ℃ , which indicate that SBCO-20SDC composite cathode could be a promising cathode material for IT-SOFC.关键词
