摘要

Abstract

A rod-like BiVO4/graphene oxide(BiVO4/GO) photocatalyst was prepared by a facile hydrothermal method.The photocatalyst was characterized by scanning electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction,Raman spectroscopy and UV–Vis absorption spectroscopy,respectively.The photocatalytic activity was evaluated by oxidation of methyl blue(MB) under a visible-light irradiation.The results show that the visible-light photocatalytic activity of BiVO4/GO is enhanced in the presence of GO,the photoactivity of BiVO4/GO with GO of 1%(in mass) was greater than that of other samples.The enhanced visible-light photocatalytic activity of BiVO4/GO was attributed to the synergetic effect of strongly visible-light absorption of BiVO4and highly electronic captureablity of graphene oxide.
