摘要

Abstract

Three coating methods, i.e., the permeable coating, the film forming coating and the combined both were used to treat the surface of specimens. Their protective effects on concrete were investigated via the carbonation and capillary water adsorption tests. The results show that the combined application has the optimum efficiency to prevent the diffusion and migration of CO2 and H2O into the concrete. The second is the film forming coating. The permeable coatings could reduce the water into the concrete, but hardly prevented CO2.
