Abstract
Objective To explore the accuracy rate of transvaginal B-ultrasonography and hysteroscopy in diagnosis of endometrial polyp. Methods The clinical data of 178 cases of suspected endometrial polyp was analyzed retrospectively. All of the cases were evaluated by transvaginal B-ultrasonography, hysteroscopy and ( or ) biopsy during hysteroscopy. The pathological examination results were taken as final diagnosis evidence. The diagnosis of transvaginal B-ultrasonography and hysteroscopy was compared with pathological examination. Results The sensitivity, specificity, false negative rate, false positive rate and coincidence rate of transvaginal B-ultrasonography with pathological examination in diagnosing endometrial polyp was 42. 10% , 97. 14% , 57. 89% , 2. 86% and 75. 00% , respectively, while the sensitivity, specificity, false negative rate, false positive rate and coincidence rate of hysteroscopy with pathological examination was 100. 00% , 97. 14% ,0,2. 86% and 90. 48% , respectively. Conclusion Being non-invasive, economic and simple, transvaginal B-ultrasonography can be taken as a screening method of endometrial polyp, but the missed diagnosis rate is relatively high. The hysteroscopy can be used as the best method in diagnosing endometrial polyp because of its higher coincidence rate.关键词
