摘要

Abstract

Sumoylation (SUMO) , similar to ubiquitination , as an important protein post-trans-lational modification, and plays an essential role in cell signal transduction , nucleocytoplasmic transport, and transcriptional regulation. Nuclear factor-KB pathway is recognized as a crucial regulatory pathway involved in inflammation and immune responses . Recent studies have shown that the SUMO is extensively implicated in the regulation of NF-kB signaling pathway through various mechanisms. Importantly , understanding the relationship between SUMO and NF -kB may facilitate prevention and treatment of the related diseases.
