摘要

Abstract

A concise stress-magnetism model is discussed on the basis of sablik-jiles-atherton magneto-mechanical hysteresis model and spontaneous magnetization principles, the theory of magnetic flux leakage measurements for ferromagnetic materials is analyzed under the influence of applied stress and earth magnetic field. About the magnetic leakage field on the specimen surface, the phenomenon is that the tangential component increases dramatically and the normal has zero-crossing point at the stress concentration zone. Combined with the elastic-plastic analysis for specimen, the magnetic flux leakage signal will change remarkably, namely the gradient of the signal curve enlarged obviously. The experiments of measuring magnetic flux leakage signal for Q235A steel under different stress state were performed. The result shows that magnetic flux leakage signal increases with stress in elastic range, which has good agreement with the theory. This work will contribute to study stress- magnetism relationship and present basic data for detect latent defects in metal magnetic memory.
