中西医结合治疗男性更年期综合征临床研究
Clinical Research on the Treatment of Male Menopause Syndrome by Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical curative effect of integrated traditional and western medicine for the treatment of male menopause syndrome. Methods:68 patients with male menopause syndrome were divided into five types according to the syndrome differentiation methods of traditional Chinese medicine, intrinsic heat due to yin deficiency, liver and kidney deficiency, imbalance between heart-yang and kidneyyin,liver stagnation and spleen deficiency and insufficiency of the spleen and kidney. They were given western medicine of oryzanol tablets and vitamin B, one tablet for oral administration. The degree of symptoms was divided into four grades according to semi-quantitative method and the clinical efficacy was assessed by calculating therapeutic index through grading. Results: A-mong 68 cases,37 cases were cured; 14 cases were markedly effective; 12 cases were effective;5 cases were ineffective and the effective rate was 92.7%. Conclusion:The integrated traditional and western medicine shows significant curative effect in treating male menopause syndrome.关键词
