Abstract
This paper determined the index to analyze the potential of urban low carbon development. Based on the analysis of 16 cities in the Yangtze River Delta region's socio-economic characteristics and energy consumption characteristics,the paper used the elastic coefficient of variation as an important research tool,and cluster analyzed the development potential of low carbon economy of the 16 cities. The paper found the problems in the development process of low carbon cities from the potential features,and gave suggestions on low carbon economic development strategy for the Yangtze River Delta region.关键词
