Scope, location and role of Central Plains Economic Region
摘要
Abstract
The scope of the Central Plains Economic Region takes Henan as the main body, including the southern Henan Province, southwest of Shandong Province, north-west provinces of Anhui Province, the east- ern part of Shaanxi Province, which is the heart of the hinterland. Its functional position is based on the prem- ise of protection of agriculture and food production safety, and the coordinated development for overall urban- rural development, efforts to achieve industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization. So build- ing of the Central Plains Economic Region not only directly benefits the development of national and regional e- conomy, but can solve the most fundamental difficulties faced in the development of Chinese society, and therefore has a major strategic significance.关键词
