Abstract
Considering that the requirements for multiple work modes, variant power and highly autono- mous control are the significant characteristics for lunar exploration satellite, and aiming at protecting the battery form short charging and over-charging and protecting the power supply security of the satellite, an in-orbit management technology {or nickel-hydrogen battery is raised in this paper which uses in-orbit autonomous control mainly by cou|ometer with auxiliarily pressure control. Furthermore, charging control mode, multiple charging mode and multiple charging rate manage- ment, and charging management during long sunlight period and lunar eclipse are explained, and the in-orbit testing results are given. The good performances of the nickel-hydrogen battery dur- ing in-orbit flight lifetime show that the in-orbit management technology for battery is profitable for lunar exploration satellite.关键词
