摘要

Abstract

The entry, descent and landing(EDL) technologies of Mars Science Laboratory repre- sent the up-to-date technologies in Mars exploration field so far. The paper, on the basis of the EDL project introduction, briefly analyzes the new technologies adopted by the EDL system such as lifting entry, guidance and control, parachute deployment based on the Mach number, heat- shield separation controlled by vectors dot product, powered descent and touchdown based on skycrane, and skycrane flyaway control. The results can provide some experience and reference for China developing Mars exploration.
