摘要

Abstract

Gravity heat pipe is widely used in many fields because of its high thermal conductivity, reliable working, simple structure, easy fabrication, low cost, changeable heat flux, flexible adjustable resistance on both sides of evaporation section and condensation section,etc. As the further development of energy efficient recovery and enhanced heat transfer technology, the ordinary gravity heat pipe is not able to meet the requirements of heating and cooling under the certain conditions. Many methods were investigated through many experiments to enhance the heat transfer in the closed gravity heat pipe radically. The latest development of heat transfer enhancement in the closed gravity heat pipe was summarized from the three fields; changing the structure of heat pipe, plugging the insertion piece, using multiphase fluid as working fluid, and the prospect of the further research on the heat transfer enhancement in closed gravity heat pipe was presented.
