摘要
Abstract
It has been found recently that there was a close association between metabolic syndrome (MS) and benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH) in the pathogenesis. Both of them are related to age, sex hormone levels, endothelium damage, hyperinsulinemia, insulin resistance, abdominal obesity, and sympathetic overactivationin in man. So far, some scholars suggested that BPH should be viewed as one component of MS and so also called "hypothesis of MS".关键词
