Isolation and Identification of Bacteria on the Surface of Rana dybowskii
摘要
Abstract
The objective of this study was to characterize the resident bacterial flora on the skin of healthy Rana dybowskii living in natural field state. After rinsed transient bacteria from the skin with sterile wa- ter, resident bacteria from frog skin were sampled using sterile swabs and cultured, and single colony was isolated and purified. After observation of colony morphology, biochemical reactions and sequencing of the 16S rDNA gene were used to identify the bacteria. Then two bacterial species from Rana dybowskii skin were identified to be related to the species Acinetobacter calcoaceticus and Pseudomonas alcali- genes by biochemistry and molecular methods. Both the bacteria were found gram negative and common in the environment. This results suggested that Rana dybowskii skin resident bacteria came from the envi- ronment and might have a protective role in preventing infection.关键词
