D-Checklist: a design method of mobile phones for the elderly
摘要
Abstract
The aged tendency of population has become a hot social issue because of nowadays' continual increasing of the elderly' number and proportion, which resulting in the demand of a design method of intellectualized mobile phones for the elderly in order to improve their life qualities and perfect their living conditions. This paper, based on the analysis of characteristics of the aged users and their usage of smart phones as well as nowadays' technology of cellphone manufacturing and software designing, summarizes six influential key factors concerning the availability of the elderly' mobile phones, furthermore proposes a new design method, D-Checklist for the elderly' mobile phones corresponding the main design points for each factor. The new method, by evaluating, can effectively improve the usability of mobile phones developed by it.关键词
