New IMF stop criterion and its application in fault diagnosis of wind turbine

摘要

Abstract

In order to solve the disadvantage of existing IMF stop criterion, the paper proposed a new criterion. There was no need to set a experiential value, which was related to the number of sifting process. Comparing to other method, it is demonstrated that the IMF component obtained by the stop criterion based on kurtosis can reflect the characteristic of non-stationary and nonlinear. This IMF stop criterion was applied to the fault diagnosis of rolling bearing in wind turbine, the result show that this criterion is effective and veracity.
