Abstract
Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of S-1 plus nedaplatin in the treatment of patients with advanced esophageal cancer. Methods Fifty-six cases with advanced esophageal cancer were randomly divided into treatment and control groups with 28 each. The treatment group received S-1 + nedaplatin (intravenous infusion) ,while the control group received calcium folinate + fluorouracil + cisplatin (intravenous infusion). Short - term efficacy and adverse reactions were evaluated after 3 cycles. Results The efficacy and adverse events in both groups could be evaluated. The efficacy rates of the treatment group and the control group were 57.1 % and 42.9%,respectively. The difference between two groups was statistically significant. Compared with the control group,the incidence rates of adverse reactions and serious reactions in the treatment group were apparently lower except the decrease in the number of Level III platelets. Conclusion The regimen of S-1 combined with nedaplatin shows good efficacy in the treatment of advanced esophageal cancer with good tolerance. Thus it is worthy of clinical applications.关键词
