Primary thyroid malignancy lymphoma: two-case reports and literature review
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical feature and management of primary thyroid malignancy lymphoma ( PTML) .Methods Two cases of PTML concomitant with Hashimoto's thyroiditis( HT) were retrospectively analyzed with reference to domestic and foreign literature review.Results The patients mostly developed a painless rapidly enlarging thyroid mass with local compression symptoms, mainly as a result of Hashimoto' s thyroiditis.The majority of histopathologic types were non-Hodgkin's lymphomas.There was not any specificity for image examination and diagnosis could be established on pathological diagnosis histology, immunohistochemistry chemical examination histopathologic diagnosis and immu-nohistochemical examination.Conclusion It is difficult to diagnose PTML,but combining tissue biopsy with immunohistochemistry can lead to definitive explanation.Radiotherapy or chemotherapy or both could improve prognosis.So combined management will be appreciated.关键词
