摘要

Abstract

In order to calculate road section capacity with intermittent bus lane(IBL) , based on the introduction of IBL system, the capacity was studied with moving bottleneck theory and capacity formulas were presented, and then, a two-lane traffic model with IBL based on cellular automaton was proposed. The capacity calculated and simulated was compared. Research result indicates that: the capacity increases along with bus operation speed; headway affects the capacity only when headway is greater than relaxation time of shockwave; meanwhile, capacity increases with headway.
