摘要

Abstract

In order to study the effects of masonry infill wall discontinuous arrangement on the seismic behavior of multi-story frame structures, comparison tests of three two-story single bay masonry infilled frame structure, one single story single bay masonry infilled frame structure and one two-story single bay frame structure, one single story single bay frame structure subjected to low cyclic reversed load were carried out. The damage characteristics, load- displacement hysteretic loops, skeleton curves, bearing capacity, displacement ductility, rigidity degradation, strength degradation and energy dissipation were analyzed. The test results indicate that whether it is a single story single bay or a two-story single bay masonry infilled reinforced concrete frame structure, their bearing capacity and initial rigidity are raised significantly than the corresponding bare frame structure, and their rigidity degradation degree are slower than the corresponding bare frame structure. The masonary infill wall enhances the lateral stiffness and peak load of the frame structures, and makes the lateral displacement curves of the frame structure gradually change from shear type into bending shear type. Due to the contribution of the masonry infill wall, the displacement ductility and cumulative energy dissipation capacity of masonry infilled frame is better than those of the bare frame. The discontinuous arrangement of masonry infill walls along the frame make the story lateral stiffness and shear capacity change abruptly, and affects the failure modes of infilled reinforced concrete frames. However, since the masonry infill wall participates in the structural hysteretic energy dissipation, the masonry infilled frame has better seismic behavior than that of the frame structure.
