摘要

Abstract

To improve the hydraulic performance of the downhole mud turbine, using NACA wing + front curved blades replaced the circular flat straight blades, the numerical simulation was used to investigate the internal flow field and hydraulic performance of the downhole mud turbine transformation. The results show that the use of NACA wing + front curved blades can effectively increase the pressure difference between the pressure face and suction face, reduce the energy loss at the export of runner blades, increase the output shaft power and efficiency of the turbine, and reduce the pressure drop of the turbine inlet and outlet. The improvement of hydraulic performance on the downhole mud turbine was verified by the performance test.
