碘酊在老年慢性阻塞性肺疾病并发气胸手术中应用

Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of iodine tincture in surgery for pneumothorax caused by chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in the aged. Methods Seventy-eight patients were randomized to experimental group (40 cases) and control group (38 cases). The patients in both groups underwent thoracoscope assisted resection of bullae of lung. Upon completion of the surgery, inunction of iodine tincture was carried out on visceral and parietal pleura in experimental group, those in the control group, inunction of normal saline only. A comparison between the two groups was done in terms of the volume of chest drainage on the first day after surgery, hospital stay, the time of air leakage and the time of indwelling drainage tube. Results The patients in experimental group had more chest drainage fluid than control group on the first day after operation, but the time of indwelling drainage tube, air leakage and hospital stay was shorter than that in the control group (t = 3. 81 — 12. 39,P<0. 05). Conclusion Iodine tincture, as a fixing agent, to be used in surgery for the aged patients with pneumothorax complicated by COPD, the effect is certain, and with few side effects, which worth recommending clinically.
