Abstract
The effect of inorganic pyrophosphorylase (PPase) transgenic sugarcane on the microbial diversity in rhizosphere soil was studied by Biolog Eco plate method. The results showed that the Average Well Color Development (A WCD) of microbial community in the rhizosphere soil of transgenic sugarcane was higher than that of non-transgenic sugarcane, indicating the carbon utilization capability of the former was higher than that of the latter. The indices of Shannon (//), Smipson (1/D) and' Mclntosh (U) were calculated respectively to show the richness, dominance and evenness of the functional diversity accordingly. The results showed that the microbial diversity indices in the rhizosphere soil of the transgenic sugarcane were also higher, and the dominance and the evenness of the functional diversity were remarkably improved. Principal components analysis (PCA) revealed that there were significant differences of carbon substrate utilization patterns between transgenic sugarcane and non-transgenic sugarcane, as the main carbon sources of differentiation were carbohydrates, followed by fatty acids and lipids. It indicated that the transgenic sugarcane roots in the growing season might induce the development of certain physiological characteristics of the microbial community, and hence a change in the functional diversity of the soil microbial communities, and had relatively higher activity of metabolism.关键词
