ChiVMV四川分离物的分子鉴定及致病性初步研究
Identification and preliminary study on pathogenicity of Chilli veinal mottle virus obtained from Sichuan

Abstract
One isolate (Pp3) was isolated from infected pepper in Sichuan province. The isolate was identified as Chilli veinal mottle virus (ChiVMV). The CP (coat protein) gene of the isolate was cloned by RT-PCR (reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction) and was sequenced and compared with the CP gene sequences of other ChiVMVs reported in GenBank. The results showed that the sequence of the CP gene was 861 nucleotides in length. Sequence alignment showed that this isolate shared 80. 0%~88. 0% identity in the CP nucleotide sequence level with those ChiVMV isolates obtained from other parts of the world. Based on the phylogenetic analysis of the CP gene of ChiVMVs, it showed that the variation of i-solate Pp3 was evident. Using model plant Nicotiana tabacum the pathogenicity of this virus was studied preliminarily. The results revealed that Pp3 had higher pathagenicity and could induce systemic necrosis in N. tabacum.关键词
