四边形网上双曲型方程的有限体积元法
The Finite Volume Element Methods for Hyperbolic Equations on Quadrilateral Meshes

Abstract
Finite volume element methods attract extensive attention worldwide. These methods have the same convergence orders as the corresponding finite element methods. They require less computational expenses, and keep the physical conservation and so on. We discuss the finite volume element methods for hyperbolic equations on quadrilateral meshes. Under the assumption that all elements on quadrilateral meshes are h2 quasi-parallel quadrilateral elements, the optimal H1 and L2 norms error estimates are obtained for the semi-discrete finite volume element scheme of the hyperbolic equations, and the error estimates are also obtained for the two fully-dis-crete finite volume element schemes.关键词
