Abstract
Objective To explore the expression of colon carcinoma and the development relationship between Reg Ⅳ and colon carcinoma. Methods Expression of Reg IV in colon carcinoma was determined in 102 cases of colon carcinoma tissues and 50 normal mucous membrane of colon cases with SABC immunohistochemical method and clinic-pathological data of patients were collected and used to make statistical analysis. And we do the regression analysis of clinical stage of colon cancer and Reg IV expression to find their relationship. Results The positive rate of Reg IV expression was 34. 31% in 102 colon carcinoma tissues, but no expression of Reg IV in the normal colon tissue. The percentages of the positive cases for Reg IV were 0. 00% , 22. 22% , 68. 66% in pathological grades from grade one to grade three respectively ( P ＜ 0. 05). The percentages of the positive cases for Reg IV clinic stages of Ta, were T0(0. 00% ), Tl (33. 33% ) ,T2(44.44% ) , T3(52. 38% ) , T4(71.42% ) respectively ( P ＜ 0. 05). The regression equation between clinical stage of colon cancer and Reg IV is Y =5.955 + 15. 83x, and the correlation coefficient r =0. 973. Conclusion High expression of Reg IV in colon carcinoma was positively related to the pathologic grade and the clinic stage of tumor, which might be a valuable maker for the character of colon carcinoma.关键词
