Abstract
Objective To investigate the application of sufentanil in children undergoing cleft palate repair. Methods Sixty children aged 2 ～ 6 years undergoing cleft palate repair were randomly allocated to 2 groups. Anesthesia was induced by either sufentanil or fentanyl, and maintained with sevoflurane inhalation supplemented with remifentanil. The haemodynamics changes were checked at different time point. OAA/S score and restlessness score 5 min after extubation were recorded. Extubation time, surgery time, recovery time of respiratory, consciousness recovery time and adverse events such as vomit in the two groups were evaluated. Results There were no difference in haemodynamics conditions during surgery in the two groups P＞0. 05. The extubation time was not significantly different between the two groups (P ＞ 0. 05 ). Restlessness score was significantly lower in sufentanil group than in fentanyl group ( P ＜ 0. 05). OAA/S score was not significantly different between the two groups (P ＞ 0. 05). Conclusion Sufentanil can be safely applied in children undergoing cleft palate repair.关键词
