Study of preventing the postoperative lymphoceles in cervical cancer patients underwent pelvic lymphadenectomy

Abstract
Objective To investigate the methods and effects of preventing the postoperative lymphocyst after pelvic lymphadenectomy in patients with cervical cancer. Methods 249 patients with cervical cancer underwent pelvic lymphadenectomy were analyzed. The patients were randomly divided into two groups, 124 cases used surgical scissors in separation operations (scissors group) , 125 cases were operated with electrotome ( electrotome group) , and duration of operation , amount of postoperative abdominal drainage, incidence of lymphocysteles and edema in the lower limbs were evaluated. Result Operation time of electrotome group was less than scissors groupfP <0. 05). The incidence of lymphocyst was lower in electrotome group than thai in scissors group (11. 1% ,16.9% , respectively, P <0.05). Conclusion In cervical cancer patients, pelvic lymphadenectomy with electrotome can shorten the operative time and reduce the occurrence of lymphocyst.关键词
