Application of Role Analysis and Spatial Stratagem in Urban Design Education (The Upper Half)
摘要
Abstract
The development of urban design has been involved in a paradoxical situation. On one hand, more and more social theories and knowledge are needed as supportable approaches; on the other hand, the request of taking spatial form under control has been increasing continuously. Furthermore, both of them are indispensable for each other. Responding to this, the teaching process jokingly named 'both kept in step' was established. 'Role Analysis' and 'Spatial Stratagem' have been launched as main methods for an educational innovation to conduct and train students in two basic aspects: social analysis and spatial forms of urban design. As a result, every student chose 'hybrid' as the uniform spatial stratagem and developed varied and rational spatial forms, which have been proven an approximate success of this educational innovation.关键词
