摘要
Abstract
In the context of globalization and the invasion of Western culture, this study investigates the diversification trend of regionalism architectural design in Taiwan. Using case-study method, this study introduces and analyzes the regionalism design practices based on the inherency and symbols of local culture. We suggest that architectural design should give full account of the identity of local culture, respect the socioeconomic, historical, and cultural background and lifestyles, thus contributing to the diversified development of contemporary architecture in Taiwan.关键词
