荔枝草总黄酮的体外抗氧化研究
In vitro antioxidant activity of the total flavonoid from Salvia plebeia

Abstract
The antioxidant activities of total flavonoid from Salvia plebeia(TFS) was evaluated by various in vitro assay systems,such as the β-carotene-linoleic acid model system,reducing power and lipid peroxidation assay,1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl(DPPH·) / superoxide(O-·2) radical scavenging.TFS showed a significant radical scavenging activity,and the IC50 values for DPPH and superoxide scavenging assay were found to be 0.079 and 0.26 mg/ml,respectively.The reducing power and total antioxidant activity were notable and increasing steadily in a concentration dependent manner.In addition,TFS had effective inhibition of lipid peroxidation.The results indicated that TFS have a potential source of antioxidants of natural origin.关键词
