Abstract
The properties and applications of high melt strength polypropylene(HMSPP) were reviewed. The preparation methods and technical difficulties for HMSPP were introduced with focus on polymerization, irradiation, reactive extrusion and blending preparation methods. The research development, production and applications of HMSPP at home and abroad were introduced. Compared with normal PP, HMSPP has particular tensile properties, good thermotolerance and high melt strength. The tendencies for HMSPP development are simple process, stable quality and high performance/price ratio.关键词
