An Equipment for Demonstration the Earth Pressure on Retaining Wall
摘要
Abstract
In order to develop students＇ practical ability and independent innovation capacity, a demonstration equipment for showing the earth pressure on the retaining wall is developed. It may help students get a sensible understanding on the influence of the retaining wall displacement on the earth pressure distribution. Meanwhile, it is helpful for students to have a better understanding of fundamental theories and to improve study efficiency. The equipment consists of open model box, retaining panel with displacement control device, pressure-measuring device, etc. It can be used to show the effect on the earth pressure distribution by different retaining wall displacement. Its application in class teaching shows well effect.关键词
