The Factors Which Cause the Chinese Overseas Students in the U.S.A. to Commit Academic Writing Plagiarisms

Abstract
An investigation on the phenomenon of academic writing plagiarism that prevails among the Chinese overseas students in American colleges and universities was made and analyzed. The result shows that the major factors that cause the phenomenon of academic writing plagiarism of the Chinese overseas students in American colleges and universities include the Chinese overseas students" cultural background, language aptitudes, realistic environment, morality, emotion, etc. In order to resolve the problem ultimately and eradicate the phenomenon of academic writing plagiarism, Chinese colleges and universities should make every effort to promote the individualization and pluralization of the college English teaching reform, try to make the current college English teaching adapt to the new situation, advance with the times, serve the vast Chinese overseas students better, and improve the academic reputation of China higher education and Chinese overseas students.关键词
