摘要

Abstract

This paper introduces the characteristics of design innovation of two super major bridges in Jiangsu section of Suzhou-Huaian Railway. Firstly, theoretical calculation showed that: the girder depth and the project cost could be reduced effectively by using the single line bridge with the main span of 132 m continuous girder-arch composite system, while in the process of construction or operation, the structure strength, stiffness, lateral stability, comfort level and other indexes could meet the requirements of relevant standards. Secondly, theoretical calculations showed that; in the case of using the bidirectional seismic isolation system in 108 m continuous girder of main span, the bridge could work normally under the normal service condition and small earthquake condition. Furthermore, in case of the design earthquake or severe earthquake, the seismic isolation system could reduce the seismic response significantly and protect the key structure parts from being damaged. So the safety of bridge structure could be assured with the obvious economic effects.
