Abstract

As the rapid development of high-speed railway, the viaduct stations are widely used because of their superiorities such as land saving as well as arrangement optimizing on station and yard. This article takes the station platform beam of Tianjin South Railway Station in Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Railway as an example to discuss how to combine the viaduct station design with the bridge design. Tianjin South Railway Station adopts double-deck station platform beams which consist of an assistant beam at the upper floor and a main beam at the lower floor. This article adopts finite element program to establish the models of the assistant beam and main beam, compares and chooses the structure sizes, analyzes the structure forces and construction procedures. Via calculation and analysis, this article makes clear the structure sizes and steel tendon arrangements. In addition, parallel construction method and ballast method as well as other measures are used in the construction process of this viaduct bridge so as to ensure the structure safety and construction schedule.
