摘要

Abstract

The benefits of probiotics have been recognized and explored for over a century. The effect about probiotics and their interactions with the host have gradually been realized around the world,and more and more proven mechanisms of action for probiotics have recently been published. While there is enough clinical evidence to support certain health claims attributed to selected strains, substantial work needs to be done to substantiate their beneficial function such as providing essential nutritional factors,protecting intestinal and cardiovascular health,and even prevent neurode-generative aging. The aim of this review is to provide an overview of such typical activity originated from probiotics, so that probiotics could be applied to our body availably according to correlated theoretical reference.
