Abstract
The deactivation mechanism of Cu/SiO2 catalysts for hydrogenation of dimethyl oxalate(DM0)was investigated by a well-designed rapid aging treatment experiment. The structure and texture of working and deactivated catalysts were characterized by XRD, Nrphysisorption, TEM, and TG. Based on the characterization results, the deactivation was attributed to a number of factors like sintering, carbonaceous deposits, and valence transition of copper species. The intrinsic relations between catalysts deactivation and sintering, carbonaceous deposits, and valence transition were discussed, and a deactivation mechanism of Cu/SiOi catalysts was proposed.关键词
