摘要

Abstract

3-hydroxypropionic acid(3-HP)is a potential valuable chemical, for example, can be used to synthesize biodegradable thermoplastic resin and 1,3-propanediol. The research progresses in the production methods of 3-HP, including the chemical and microbial fermentation routes, were introduced. Through comparing the advantages and disadvantages of the two production methods, the chemical synthetic route was considered to be more competitive and have a brighter future than the microbial fermentation route.
