Abstract
Uproaring Wasteland is the first well-known work by Dang Yimin, the military writer, whose hometown is located in the eastern part of Shaanxi Province, and also which is another influential family novel after White Deer Plain by Chen Zhongshi. There are four achievements in the Uproaring Wasterland＇s literary creation： first, taking the clans＇ weapon fights as the narrating main-clue of the novel has multiple values; second, the novel creates the group images with distinct characters; third, the novel creates the taste of magic realism ; forth, the novel language performs a strong aesthetical tension.关键词
