摘要

Abstract

This paper achieves video streams transmission in NS2 simulation platform for MSNs, and analyzes the impact of the compression quantization parameters, GOP type, packet length and packet error rate to transmission quality of video streams. Simulation results show that when the compression quantization parameters, GOP length or packet error rate value is less, the transmission quality of multimedia information is better. However, the smaller the packet length, the worse the transmission quality of video streams.
