Multi -View Tactic in Film Subtitle Translation from the Perspective of Functionalist Theory
摘要
Abstract
The functionalist theory holds that translation must adapt to the culture of target language, and realize the anticipated goal and function of translation in the target language culture. The function of film subtide translation is to maximally convey the relevant information in the most efficient way to the target audience under the constraints of time and space. This paper attempts to make a tentative study on film subtitle translation of our national films from the perspective of functional theory, and then put forward multi - view tactic afterwards, in the hope of improving subtitling translation quality and achieving intercultural communication and prosperity.关键词
