MiRNA expression profile in triple-negative breast cancer

Abstract
Objective To screen and identify the miRNA differential expression profile in triple-negative breast cancer by the miRNA array technique. Methods Total RNA was extracted from 8 fresh breast tumor samples and normal adjacent tissues. The miRCURYTM LNA Array (v. 16.0) (Exiqon) was used to screen the differentially expressed miRNA. Real-time quantitative PCR was applied to verify the reliability of miRNA array results. Results Compared to normal adjacent tissues, 17 miRNAs were differentially expressed in triple-negative breast cancer tissues, including 7 up-regulated and 10 down-regulated miRNAs. The most significantly up-regulated miRNAs were miR-93 and miR-328, while miR-145 and miR-205 were significantly down-regulated. Conclusion We obtained miRNA differential expression profile of triple-negative breast cancer. The profile may be related to the pathogenesis and development of triple-negative breast cancer.关键词
