Thermostatic crystal oscillator based on incremental digital PID algorithm

Abstract
A system with MSP430FG4618 MCU as the control core is designed for the controlling of temperature, which is based on the susceptibility of the output frequency of the crystal clock oscillator to the change of environmental temperature. The system samples the crystal temperature with a high-precision negative temperature coefficient thermistor sensor, and then the crystal temperature error signal is converted to MCU precision with an amplifier IAN330 chip. And this signal is calculated with the incremental digital PID algorithm after twelve-bit A/D conversion to obtain the control incremental quantity. To drive TEC the signal is outputted to the DRV593 chip after a twelve-bit D/A conversion. This process cycles until the temperature of the crystal oscillator tends to a constant state.关键词
